Recycling Day Information

Great News!!!
Recycle Service Day Changes
(Recycle will no longer be collected on Wednesdays)

Effective Tuesday, February 4th, 2014 the recycle will now be collected on the same day as your trash. Trash and recycle should be placed out at the same locations as before and by 7:00 am.

We will have different trucks collecting these materials and they will have different arrival times. Do not be alarmed that your trash and/or recycle are not collected at the same time.

Listed below is a holiday schedule for 2014. No additional flyers will be placed out this year. This information is also available online at firstchoicedisposal.biz or on voicemail prior to the holiday. If the holiday you are looking for is not listed this means we are collecting as normal.

Close Rotation for Fall Pruning

Ruppert Landscape will begin the fall pruning the first week of October. Please use the supplied ribbon to mark bushes you do not want pruned. Each close will find ribbon in respective common areas on one of the black wrought iron benches. The crew will be trimming the front close areas, around the garages, and the fronts and sides of the townhouses to the AC units. Shrubs/plants in the back of the homes are the responsibility of the owners.

Voluntary Mediation Law

Effective July 1, 2013, HOAs are required to consider voluntary mediation prior to any lawsuit being filed.  Disputes over timely payment of assessments, fines or fees are not covered under this requirement.  A homeowner or the HOA may initiate the mediation by contacting a mediator, who will then contact the opposing party.  Either party may decline to participate, at which time the lawsuit may be filed.  If the parties do agree to mediate, each party is responsible for one-half of the mediator’s fee and any information exchanged during the mediation is not admissible in a court proceeding.
