As we all know, North Carolina is experiencing extreme heat and drought conditions. It is generally recommended to avoid mowing during these conditions. While Ruppert will continue regular maintenance on Wednesday, it will not include mowing, but will concentrate on other light footprint actions.

WELCOMING NEWCOMERS AND THEIR DOGS TO WEATHERSFIELD
2020 saw the arrival of many new homeowners and renters to Weathersfield. We welcome these new neighbors and their 4-legged pets. Weathersfield, like much of Fearrington Village, is “dog friendly”; and dogs have helped tremendously in “introducing” residents old and new to one another.
With the arrival of newcomers to Weathersfield, this is a good time to remind all dog owners of the Weathersfield Covenants that address pet ownership in Article IX, Section 4 under “Use Restrictions”. The WSG Covenants in their entirety are available on the Weathersfield website. Please know that dogs must be kept within the owner’s home unless on a leash. While it is not addressed directly in our Covenants, owners are expected to pick up after their dogs not only within Weathersfield but also throughout Fearrington Village. In addition, please respect the community’s desire for “quiet enjoyment” mentioned elsewhere in our Covenants by not leaving your dog on your patio or screened-in porch where barking and whining may disturb your neighbors.
Welcome, again, to our community where we hope to safely enjoy more face-to-face encounters in the coming year.
